LOS ANGELES – iMadeAMovie.com, the latest evolution in independent movie production, is accepting music submissions for the soundtracks of all their upcoming movies.  Bands, musicians, and composers have the chance to contribute to the melody of a feature film… an opportunity that is hard, if not impossible, to get in either Hollywood or NYC. All music will be heard and voted on by members of iMadeAMovie.com who are producing the different movies.

“Music can either make or break a movie” said Mike Wojciechowski, Board Chairman of iMadeAMovie.com.  “Music sets the rhythm, tone, and keeps the movie going during breaks and pauses in dialogue.  In horror, it prepares us for the entrance of evil and in romance it sets the mood for an emotional rollercoaster.

Submitting music for a film is absolutely free.  Musicians become members of iMadeAMovie.com and review the different movies in production   Audio files of original music that fit the premise of the movies can be uploaded directly to the site.  Sorry, no covers allowed! Once the music clips are up, members are allowed to vote for their favorites.  Musicians are encouraged to use the power of social media like Facebook and Twitter to invite their friends, family and colleagues to vote for them, thereby increasing their chances of landing a role.

Nationwide Casting Calls for all Feature Film Projects

LOS ANGELES – iMadeAMovie.com, the latest craze in independent movie production, is holding open casting for all their upcoming movies.  Actors and actresses from all corners of the country can submit their auditions to the open projects.  Their auditions will be seen by members, directors, and executive producers of iMadeAMovie.com who are producing the different movies.  The associate producers rate on who had the best auditions and who had the worst.

“One of the most critical parts of making a movie is finding the right cast.” said Mike Wojciechowski, Board Chairman of iMadeAMovie.com.  “This gives aspiring actors across the country the opportunity to be a part of a real feature film.  They will be able to use their parts for their reels, IMDb.com and resumes. This is a great opportunity for budding actors around the nation who wish to try out for movies but can’t make it to Hollywood or New York to be a part of the usual audition process.

Auditioning is free.  Actors sign up to become members of iMadeAMovie.com and review the sides for the movie.  They can film themselves with their webcam, home video camera, with the help of their school AV club, or any other and upload their audition videos to the website.  Every member is allowed to view each auditions and vote for their favorites.   Actors are encouraged to use the power of social media like Facebook and Twitter to invite their friends, family and colleagues to vote for them, thereby increasing their chances of landing a role.

iMadeAMovie.com Studios Announces its First Green Light with Rancho D’Amour

Los Angeles -- iMadeAMovie.com announces its first green lit micro-budget feature; the romantic comedy Rancho D’Amour helmed by director/producer Bill Evashwick.  The movie is slated to begin shooting May 22 on location in Arizona and Los Angeles.  Casting and music selections are still being finalized by iMadeAMovie.com members who are participating in the production of the movie.

Rancho will be shot for $40,000 with a projected release date of August, 1 2010. Associate producer's votes on the cast are currently being tallied.  Audition videos for the various roles can be viewed at iMadeAMovie.com.  Evashwick has produced over 17 Biographies for A&E, numerous specials and series for networks such as the History Channel, Discovery, Court TV, Versus, Discovery Military Channel, Mojo, and others.

Rancho D’Amour centers on Emily, a timid, aspiring romance novelist who gets rejected for a book deal, catches her fiancé in the arms of another woman and loses her job. Looking for an escape, she heads to the falsely advertised, run down “romantic resort” Rancho D’Amour. An unexpected discovery leads to love in the least likely of places and soon Emily finds that romance lives at the Rancho D’Amour.
