CALLING ALL ACTORS! iMadeAMovie.com Announces
Nationwide Casting Calls for all Feature Film Projects
LOS ANGELES – iMadeAMovie.com, the latest craze in independent movie production, is holding open casting for all their upcoming movies. Actors and actresses from all corners of the country can submit their auditions to the open projects. Their auditions will be seen by members, directors, and executive producers of iMadeAMovie.com who are producing the different movies. The associate producers rate on who had the best auditions and who had the worst.
“One of the most critical parts of making a movie is finding the right cast.” said Mike Wojciechowski, Board Chairman of iMadeAMovie.com. “This gives aspiring actors across the country the opportunity to be a part of a real feature film. They will be able to use their parts for their reels, IMDb.com and resumes. This is a great opportunity for budding actors around the nation who wish to try out for movies but can’t make it to Hollywood or New York to be a part of the usual audition process.”
Auditioning is free. Actors sign up to become members of iMadeAMovie.com and review the sides for the movie. They can film themselves with their webcam, home video camera, with the help of their school AV club, or any other and upload their audition videos to the website. Every member is allowed to view each auditions and vote for their favorites. Actors are encouraged to use the power of social media like Facebook and Twitter to invite their friends, family and colleagues to vote for them, thereby increasing their chances of landing a role.
Launched in Spring 2010, iMadeAMovie.com 2.0 has added new engaging features including open casting calls, music auditions, the ability to get walk on roles on the films and more. Purchasing the Associate Producer package for $49.95, allows members access to the Producers’ Lounge where they can participate in voting on character names, script changes, view dailies and behind the scenes footage and drama from the set. Each member or producer of the movie receives a certificate and press release announcing their involvement as a distinguished associate producer of the film, along with a t-shirt and, once the movie is completed, a copy of the movie with their associate producer credit (and only theirs) in the opening credits. This new approach to filmmaking will provide entertainment to movie enthusiasts around the world while simultaneously fulfilling the dreams of movie makers by financing their projects.
