Web based movie studio finances full length independent micro-budget films by providing movie enthusiasts throughout the world an opportunity to experience the act of filmmaking first hand.  Members get to vote on casting, script changes, review daily footage, audition for roles, and submit music for soundtracks.

LOS ANGELES –iMadeAMovie.com reveals their new website that engages film buffs and movie enthusiasts all around the world in the filmmaking process. At the same time, the company enables independent micro-filmmakers with access to new and creative sources of financing for their projects. Membership is FREE for those who just want to comment on auditions, music and upcoming movies.  However, iMadeAMovie offers different packages starting at $49.95 for members to receive the title of Associate Producer on any of the available film projects that they choose.  All Associate Producers get to vote on casting, script changes, and review daily footage.

“We wanted to look at new ways to help independent filmmakers finance their projects while offering a product that was fun and exciting to people,” said Mike Wojciechowski, Board Chairman of iMadeAMovie.com. “We offer a variety of packages where the consumer becomes an Associate Producer on a feature length independent film.  They get to vote on the cast, script changes, review dailies, and when the project is complete, they receive a DVD of the movie with their name, and only their name in the opening credits as an Associate Producer.”

Since the launch of iMadeAMovie.com 2.0 in April, the site received 500,000 unique visits and membership has nearly doubled.  With hundreds of downloaded videos and other content from the users, the community is spreading fast and iMadeAMovie executives project to have close to 100,000 members by the end of the summer.   Because of the increased memberships and producers, the first iMadeAMovie.com production is well underway.

The studio anticipates that some of its projects will be submitted to film festivals around the world, meaning that consumers have the opportunity to become Associate Producers of films that have a chance to win prestigious awards.
