Decision Point #2: Our Zombies – What is their muse?

There are all kinds of Zombies in this world and we need to decide what kind of Zombies are trying to take over the world? Are they flesh-eating zombies, blob zombies or just scary, drooling zombies? Yikes!!! Do they scream, mumble scary catchy sayings such as “hope and change” or do they continuously call out the name of an old girlfriend/boyfriend. You have to decide! We’ll use the same format as before: One week to make suggestions, the top 5 are listed and the community votes over the 2nd week.

Old school... mumbling "Brains" and just making zombie noises. They will be drooling, scary, and just flesh-eating!

I do not think the zombies should have any time of emotion or intelligence. Yes they were human at one point, but after dying most of their brain has deformed and functions in a different manner. The brain only sends signals indicating eating for survival. There should be no human soul inside the zombies.

I agree with Danny, the zombies should be flesh eaters rather than just looking for brains. Maybe something along the lines of something like this : when a zombie finds its prey(live flesh), it needs it in order to regain strength and to survive. Without devouring living flesh, the zombie would begin to enter a mode of starvation and eventually die. However, when the zombie draws close to its "starving stage", the zombie will act extremely violent and will march down the streets like an unstoppable juggernaut looking for the next thing to feast on.

I like Paulina's idea about doing something different.... They should obviously have one thing on their mind.... FLESH! But what about creating some sort of plot where the zombies have some sort of intelligence.
Ex- In the final battle seen of I am Legend. You see Will smith locking himself as well as the other two characters in a glass room in the basement of his house.... When the infected enter the room, you see one who definitely identifies as a leader. smashing his face and body against the glass to cause it to break......
Now, my suggestion is to have a large and in charge kind of zombie. Over 6'10" Built like a monster! One that would even kill another zombie if it got in the way. I also like intense zombies... Like the ones that suffer from the Rage Virus in 28 days later/ 28 weeks later... Everyone who loves zombie movies, loves a good scare!

If its going to be a government mistake zombie, may be making zombies that were scientist working on the nuclear bombs in Arizona but were murdered by the government with a nuclear bomb that was twisted with some foreign toxin which ultimately creates these zombie scientist that want "Hope and Change" for humanity but have become the thing that they have feared but can not fight the hunger for human hearts. Making them develop a some what good sense of hearing for hearts. Not all zombies have to be scientist but some can actually be soldiers and other civilians that were tested on by these scientist. Zombies roaming around looking for hearts to feast on. With this zombie apocalypse coming around the zombies can vary from a carnival in town to a baseball team or football team.

They should be different zombies! like something we've never seen before in other zombie movies. like.... hmm this is hard. i feel like everythings been done. Maybe like crazy zombies like "Joker" constantly sportin a creepy smile and crazy wide eyes, but they are also self destructive, like scratching skin off themselves. They are pretty much, insane X10. Extreme mental cases, unheard of in the natural world to the point where everyone they see they approach hysterically laughing either biting there own nails off or eventually mauling humans with an uncontrollable desire for... i dunno. brains is overrated lol
