How do the CHEERLEADERS get together in the beginning of the movie?

How did these girls together at the beginning of the movie?? And why are they traveling to Arizona??
No idea is too crazy, so have some fun with it. We'll post the top five ideas and put it to a vote!
For instance, “The State University of California in Tustin (SUCIT) cheerleading squad, who are all working towards their PhD’s in various psychology and biology disciplines and who are all members of the Tri-Lam Sorority House are heading for South Padre Island for Spring Break and a bikini contest.”

Start off with a practice of the squad at the University and the stars of the squad maybe (4 or 5) meet up later in the movie heading to a relaxing time for spring break. Little do they know whats in store.

They get together as a group once every three months to be tested for "The Clap"...
Arizona is the home of the yearly Cheer leading retreat. One Cheer leading squad is picked each year to go on a retreat with there coach. Its a trip to help the girls bond and create a more unified group. Along with trust building exercises they also have a pool, hot tub, and fitness facility.

You can start presenting the front of “The State University of California” as we hear the one to eight count of cheerleading
practice while following the sound with the camera until you arrive in the gym where practice is taking place. Then as
cheerleaders usually practice after college hours, you can present a few minutes of that last cheerleading practice before
spring break starts, that way you present that they are cheerleaders and now each other, then as the practice ends the
cheerleaders that are going for the spring break trip get together right away and as they walk to get out of the gym they talk all
excited about their trip to Arizona. They can talk about how much they need to get a break out of the PHD’s or they can be
telling one of the girls that she better be right about convincing them to choose Arizona for spring break, You can then change
the scene to the Tri-Lam Sorority House where they are packing up the car and leaving to Arizona, and once the car is driving
away they can “say good bye Tri-Lam well miss you” or “Good bye Tri-lam well see you in two weeks” in a fun, loud and
energetic way.

Two rival cheerleading squads going to a cheer leading competition. A cheerleader from one squad has a problem with the cheerleader of another squad because the rival cheerleader stole her boyfriend who just happens to be a male cheerleader on the opposite squad. The two squads literally have a fist fight right before the competition and get disqualified. The zombie apocalypse happens and they have to choose to stick together and maybe survive or kill each other along with the zombies.

The squad is headed to Arizona for the UCA/UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship. Of course they are going to watch, since their team sucks. However they are groupies of another award winning team, Delaware University. They are not fans, but want to BE just like them. They plan to videotape the idolized teams routine, take it home. learn it and perform it at their own local competition.
